Unitree Robotics, a leader in advanced robotics, has unveiled an entirely new quadruped robot model — the Unitree A2 Stellar Hunter, designed for professional use in industry-specific applications. The robot features enhanced mobility, an adaptive design, and greater endurance for operation in demanding environments.

Key technical specifications of Unitree A2:

·       Weight: ~37 kg;

·       Unloaded range: 20 km;

·       Maximum speed: 5 m/s;

·       Maximum obstacle height: 1 m;

·       Mobility on rough terrain (rocks, slopes, unstable surfaces);

·       Resistance to concentrated impact loads.

The model is equipped with an Ultra-wide LiDAR Perception system — a wide-angle LiDAR that enables extended laser-based environmental awareness.

The Unitree A2 is built as a tool for industrial deployment. It is designed to operate in real-world conditions that involve high physical stress, complex spatial geometry, and a strong demand for autonomy.

The arrival of Unitree A2 opens new opportunities for integrating autonomous robotics into the Futurology ecosystem. Operating at the intersection of hardware implementation, software solutions, and engineering education, we deliver innovations that move beyond prototypes and scale into functional, accessible, and field-ready technologies.

Futurology is the official distributor of Unitree Robotics. The brand’s products are available through Futurology’s dealer network in the United States. For partnerships or more information, please contact [email protected].
